The doctoral program at Franklin University Switzerland (FUS) has been collaborating with aSSIST University since 2021, allowing students to obtain a dual doctoral degree in Business Administration from both Franklin University Switzerland (FUS) and aSSIST University upon successful completion of the degree requirements.

Degree Overview

To meet the requirements for the doctoral degree in Business Administration at Franklin University Switzerland (FUS), you need to complete 37 credits. This includes 32 credits for major courses in business administration, research methodology, and overseas courses, 1 credit for general education, and 4 credits for dissertation guidance. The program has modular structure and follows a four-week learning cycle. The courses are mainly conducted in Korean, on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Course Content

The doctoral program in Business Administration at Franklin University Switzerland (FUS) is designed to support students who engage in practice-based research in their professional activities. The program consists of three main stages: the first stage focuses on development of research methodology, the second stage covers the general business topics, and the final stage involves submitting a dissertation and passing an oral defense. During the first two stages of program, students engage in online learning through study materials, discussions, and interaction with course leaders, with guidance from two academic advisors.

The doctoral program in Business Administration at Franklin University Switzerland (FUS) starts in March (spring semester) and September (fall semester) every year.
